The SuperSix EVO lineup has always been known for its elegantly smooth ride quality, and Cannondale's latest iteration is even smoother. The new SAVE rear stays, integrated binder, and 27 KNØT seat post increase compliance by 18%—a massive benefit that riders will certainly appreciate, especially on longer days. Cannondale's proprietary high-strength, high-stiffness carbon construction features an advanced matrix of intermediate modulus fibers that together create a frame that's light, durable, and lively. For additional comfort and capability on all kinds of roads, the SuperSix EVO will easily fit the largest tire size the brake caliper will allow (28mm for most brakes).
Offering further aerodynamic improvements, the disc version has a unique design that routes the brake lines through an opening in the front of the headtube for minimal drag and headache-free serviceability. Considering every detail, the bike makes use of Speed Release dropouts that combine the benefits of added thru-axle stiffness and the convenience of a QR. Electronic shifting systems use powerful servomotors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with precisely and without chain rub.
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.
Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you’ll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
